The park's main highlight is the Giant Panda House, home to Qatar's celebrity giant pandas, Suhail and Thuraya (requires a separate ticket). It also features a large Mini-Zoo & Aviary with over 300 animals from 49 species, including big cats, giraffes, and rhinos. For recreation, the park offers a Miniature Train ride, a mini-golf course, dedicated basketball/skating areas, and two large, rubber-floored playgrounds for different age groups. The beautiful, sprawling Green Spaces include waterfalls, fountains, and shaded picnic areas.
Court booking is not applicable for this park, but ticket booking is mandatory and must be done online in advance. Visitors must purchase tickets through the Ministry of Municipality’s official 'Oun' app or website, as on-site cash payments may not be accepted. After payment, a barcode is generated and must be scanned for entry. Tickets may also be available for purchase at select Al Meera branches.
As is customary for public park entrance tickets, all sales are generally final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased, and visitors should confirm park timings before completing the booking. Cancellations or refunds are only provided if the park or the specific attraction (like the Panda House) is officially closed by the management on the booked date.
The park is well-designed for general accessibility, featuring smooth, paved pathways and low-gradient areas suitable for wheelchair users and strollers. The facility includes designated accessible parking spots and equipped restroom facilities. While the entire park is accessible, visitors should note that certain areas, like the playground surfaces or specific animal viewing platforms, may have minor variations in accessibility.
Visitors must adhere to strict park guidelines: Tuesdays are reserved exclusively for women and children only. Pets, including dogs, are strictly prohibited inside the park and zoo areas. Activities such as grilling, open fires, and smoking are not permitted anywhere in the park. Guests must also respect the animals, meaning feeding or touching the wildlife is prohibited unless it is part of a supervised, designated experience.
The park's entrance fee does not include personal accident or medical insurance. Visitors assume personal responsibility for their safety and personal belongings while on the premises. Park management is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property.
